Information processing systems - High-level data link control procedures - Consolidation of classes of procedures (= AS 2751-1985)
Specifies methods of data link operation which permit synchronous, code-transparent data transmission between data stations in a variety of logical and physical configurations. Allows maintenance of maximum compatibility between balanced and unbalanced classes of procedures. Defines one balanced and two unbalanced classes of procedures, for point-to-point and multipoint configurations.
