NZS ISO 19147:2025
Geographic information – Transfer Nodes
Standard specifies data types – and the code lists associated with those data types – for the implementation of transfer nodes and their services in transport modelling and location-based services.
It is applicable for transport infrastructure owners and operators wanting to define and/or describe their transport infrastructure, and for transport-related service providers wanting to provide information to travellers and others.
This standard is limited to the transport of persons and static ‘getting on’ and ‘getting off’ points. The main focus is on transfer nodes that are part of public transport networks located in road networks. However, this standard is also applicable for transfer nodes in rail, air, and sea transport networks.
The standard was considered for adoption by the P4815 Identical Adoption of Geographic Information Standards and Technical Specifications Committee. The adoption of this standard maintains continuity with the ISO 19100 series and alignment with Australia for trans-Tasman consistency.
This standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 19147:2015, Geographic information – Transfer nodes.
