Approval and test specification - Particular requirements for electric sauna heating appliances (=AS 3316-1992)

(±IEC 335-2-53:1988) In the appliance safety series, this Standard is to be read as a supplement to the General requirements (AS 3300/NZS 6300, ±IEC 335-1 second edition, see Basic information above). It modifies the corresponding clauses to apply to heating appliances up to 20 kW, together with any rocks, and control and safety devices, intended for installation in a sauna room or cabinet into which the user enters. Does not apply to steam producers used without a cabinet, nor to sweating baths where the head of the user remains outside the heated space, nor to tents and other collapsible sauna baths.
