Code of practice for the design of hospitals with respect to fire
Sets out requirements and recommendations for fire protection, fire alarms, and fire extinguishing equipment for hospitals within the meaning of sections 2 and 118 of the Hospitals Act 1957, and section 2 of the Mental Health Act 1969. Applies to all buildings of a hospital complex and contains special requirements and recommendations for functional areas such as wards, clinical services departments, boiler houses and others.
