Aerospace process — Anodic treatment of aluminium alloys — Sulfuric acid process, dyed coating

This document specifies requirements for producing and testing a dyed sulfuric acid anodic coating on aluminium alloys.

The anodizing process is applied in the manufacture of aerospace products to improve paint adhesion and resistance to corrosion and can colour the part in accordance with the drawing requirements.
