Anodized aluminium and aluminium alloys — Visual determination of image clarity of anodic oxidation coatings — Chart scale method

Image clarity is determined by visual estimation of three properties: image clearness, image distortion and haze of the coating layer. These properties are obtained by evaluating the image of a chart scale on the test samples. The test can only be applied to a flat surface.
