Guide for the design and installation of multiple outlet distribution systems for sound and television signals
Sets out recommendations for good reception and reticulation of sound and television signals in buildings on a single site. Intended for the guidance of architects, contractors and building owners who are involved with the planning, installation and maintenance of MATV systems. Does not provide the detailed information required by the systems engineer to design a complete system, as such information is available in handbooks published by manufacturers. Includes recommendations regarding the provision of antenna systems and coaxial cable distribution systems, the necessary structural accommodation for equipment and wiring, and protective measures against danger from electric shock, fire and other hazards.
