Approval and test specification - Electric cooking appliances for household use
Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS/AS 3100. Applies to electric ranges, and a variety of other warming or cooking appliances including ovens, hotplates, grillers, boilers, rotisseries, frypans, deepfryers, and the like. Does not deal with cooking performance. Does not apply to toasters (see AS/NZS 3101), nor to jugs, kettles, and other appliances for heating liquids (NZS 6315/AS 3313), nor to immersion heaters.
