Acoustics - Measurement of sound insulation in buildings and of building elements - Laboratory measurements of impact sound insulation of floors

Laboratory method of measuring impact noise transmission through floors by using a standard tapping machine. The results can be used to compare the sound insulation properties of floors and to classify floors according to their sound insulation properties.
