Specification for playgrounds and playground equipment - General guidelines for new and existing playgrounds - equipment and surfacing
Guidelines for planning, site selection and design of a playground area, including inspection and maintenance criteria. Provides recommendations for surfacing materials with emphasis on the use of impact-absorbing surfaces under and around equipment from which falls are possible. Anthropometric tables assist in the design of equipment for various age groups.
