Recommended Special Conditions to NZS 3910:2013 Conditions of Contract
The P3910 Review Committee, in consultation with the Commissioners (the Accord and Te Waihanga) and Standards New Zealand, endorsed the publication of the recommended Special Conditions. The decision to replace the intended publication of an interim standard with these recommended Special Conditions was made following working group consideration and development of the content across all topics, and review by the wider committee. Given the relatively limited scope and extent of these recommended Special Conditions, and the desire to make them freely available to existing NZS 3910:2013 users, the committee endorsed the publication of the P3910 recommended Special Conditions, rather than a change to the standard. These Special Conditions may be incorporated into Schedule 2: Special Conditions of Contract – Other Conditions of Contract on new contracts prior to the publication of the new edition of NZS 3910, which is currently scheduled for the latter part of 2023.
