Gaseous hydrogen – Fuelling stations Part 1: General requirements
The objective of this standard is to define the minimum design, installation, commissioning, operation, inspection, and maintenance requirements for the safety, and (where appropriate) performance of fuelling stations that dispense gaseous hydrogen to light-duty road vehicles (for example, fuel cell electric vehicles).
While this document is targeted at the light fleet, it also covers requirements and guidance for fuelling medium and heavy-duty road vehicles (for example, buses, trucks).
This standard is not applicable to the dispensing of cryogenic hydrogen, or hydrogen-to-metal hydride applications.
This standard was prepared by the Standards New Zealand P3652 committee and has been reproduced as a modified adoption of ISO 19880-1:2020, Gaseous hydrogen – Fuelling stations – Part 1: General requirements.
