Open Systems Interconnection: use of X.25 to provide the connection-oriented network service (ISO/DP 8878)
Specifies two methods of providing the OSI connection-oriented network service through the use of the X.25 packet level protocol. These are: mapping X.25 (1984) directly to the CONS primitives and use of a subnetwork dependent convergence protocol for use with X.25 (1980).
