Strength of metal casing (guard barrier access cover, top and base) specified by an equation relating tensile strengths and thicknesses. Strengths of hinges and safety devices controlling lid locks. Electrical safety by temporary reference to BS 3456. Requirements for optional accessories or biological use and flammable materials. Appendix gives recommendations to users.
