Specification for asbestos-cement pipes, joints and fittings for sewerage and drainage
Nominal diameter range 100 mm to 2500 mm. Composition, classification, geometrical and physical characteristics of pipes and fittings. Hydraulic pressure, transverse crushing, longitudinal bending, chemical resistance tests. Joints. Inspection and acceptance. Appendix gives recommended acceptance test procedures. Pipes complying with this standard will meet the requirements of the related ISO standard.
