Specification for sulphuric acid for use in lead-acid batteries

Specifies limits for residue on ignition, chloride, sulphur dioxide, ammoniacal nitrogen, nitrogen oxides, iron, copper, manganese, arsenic. All the numerical limits refer to acid of density 1.215 g/ml at 20°C. Conversions to 100 per cent acid basis are given. Test methods are described.
