Ghost-cancelling reference signals for Australian and New Zealand PAL television broadcasting systems
Specifies a ghost-cancelling reference (GCR) signal that may be inserted into the transmitted television signal by broadcasters, and used by suitably equipped television receivers to eliminate, or at least reduce considerably, annoying ghost images often experienced in the analogue PAL systems in Australia and New Zealand.
