Water microbiology – Method 17.1: Spores of Clostridium perfringens – Membrane filtration method
This standard covers the detection of spores of sulphite-reducing anaerobes (clostridia) including Clostridium perfringens using the membrane filtration method.
In 2025, the P4828 Rejoining of Microbiology Standards committee was formed to consider this standard’s suitability (and the suitability of other Australian water microbiology standards) for rejoining as Australian/New Zealand standards.
