Approval and test specification - Medical electrical equipment - Particular requirements for safety - Surgical luminaires and luminaires for diagnosis
Specifies the requirements to be applied to surgical luminaires and luminaires for diagnosis. Does not apply to headlights, endoscopes, laparoscopes and their light sources, luminaires used in dentistry, luminaires for general purposes and luminaires of an emergency lighting. This Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 3200.1.1:1998. It modifies, and has been reproduced from, IEC 60601-2-41:2000 with variations for Australia and New Zealand included in an Appendix.
