This joint standard was developed in conjunction with Standards Australia (SA) who advised us that the standard was reviewed and resulted in a new Australian (AS) only standard AS 2640:2016. Specifies safety and performance requirements for portable ramps used in the maintenance and display of motor vehicles. Design requirements and testing methods are included covering strength, structural integrity, roll-off ease of mounting (drive on test).
