Home and Community Support Sector Standard

Please note: Certification against standard NZS 8158:2003 ceased on 31 August 2012 and was withdrawn on 1 September 2013. Certification against NZS 8158:2012 commenced from the date of publication (April/May 2012).

This Standard establishes the minimum requirements that should be attained by providers. It is limited to health and disability services provided in the environment of a person's home or in their community, by individuals working as support workers accountable to a home and/ or community support service provider.
