Guide to the selection of fitment bores for cylindrical shaft ends
Guidance is given on the selection of suitable tolerances (extracted from BS 4500) for the bore diameters of shaft fitments (e.g. couplings, pulleys) to give interference, close and free fits when the fitments are used with cylindrical shaft ends to BS 4506.
