Standard objective is to specify safety requirements for tungsten filament lamps for general lighting service.
This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from, IEC 60432‑1:1999+AMD1:2005 CSV, Incandescent lamps – Safety specifications – Part 1: Tungsten filament lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes and its Amendment No 2 (2011) which has been added at the end of the source text.
