Provides minimum requirements for VHF transmitters and receivers for use on board ships in the maritime mobile services. An annex sets out proposed variations to these requirements for application in Australia and New Zealand. This Standard is reproduced from IEC 61097-7:1996 and varied to suit Australian/New Zealand conditions.
