Loads on buried concrete pipes
Sets out acceptable methods for calculating the vertical working (service) loads, resulting from overlying materials and superimposed dead and live loads, which act on buried concrete pipes. From these values, a test load is calculated for use in selecting an appropriate class of pipe from AS 1342 - Precast concrete drainage pipes, or AS 1392 - Precast concrete pressure pipes. Applies to loads on reinforced and unreinforced pipes complying with AS 1342 or with 1392.
