Acoustics - Measurement of sound insulation in buildings and of building elements - Field measurements of airborne sound insulation of facade elements and facades
Gives procedures for measuring the sound insulation properties of a facade with respect to outside noise such as traffic noise, thus making it possible to ensure that the constructions meet the desired acoustical conditions inside the building. Also gives field procedures to determine whether facades have met building specifications and to check where faults occurred in the facade construction.
