Approval and test specification - Electrically operated aquarium equipment
Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS/AS 3100. Applies to immersion heaters, thermostats, pumps and lighting fittings designed to be used with tanks or ponds for keeping aquatic animals or plants; for operation not over 250 V. Does not apply to equipment to be used in baths or pools for persons (see NZS 6232/AS 3136).
