Specification for PVC-insulated cables for electric power and lighting
Relates to 600/1000 V rated cables made in New Zealand and commonly used for fixed wiring installations. Includes insulated conduit wire, sheathed single-core and multi-core cables, and neutral-screened cables, suitable for use where the combination of ambient temperature and temperature rise due to load results in a conductor temperature not exceeding 70oC. Conductor sizes range from 1.0 mm2 to 630 mm2. Conductor materials provided for are copper and aluminium.
