Approval and test specification - Particular requirements for appliances for heating liquids (=AS 3313-1993)
(±IEC 335-2-15:1986) In the appliance safety series, this Standard is to be read as a supplement to the General requirements (AS 3300/NZS 6300, ±IEC 335-1 second edition, see Basic information above). It modifies the corresponding clauses to apply to water boilers including kettles and jugs, and to coffee-makers, egg boilers, milk heaters, small pressure cookers, cooking pans, wash boilers, sterilizers, glue pots, and the like. Particular features specified include marking, and moisture resistance. Does not apply to electrode boilers, pressure sterilizers, portable immersion heaters, frying pans (see AS/NZS 3172), or instantaneous water heaters (NZS 6335).
