Information and documentation - International standard name identifier (ISNI)
Specifies an identifier for the public identities of parties. It provides an efficient means to disambiguate such public identities in the digital environment, so that the roles that participants play in creation, production, management and content distribution can be recognised accurately, and the content they are involved in creating can be managed effectively. Identical to and reproduced from ISO 27729:2012, including Corrigendum 1:2013.
