Standards New Zealand is seeking feedback on an ISO new field of technical activity proposal – Excellence in service. The German standards body DIN has proposed this activity.
The scope of the proposal is the following:
This standardisation project wants to develop documents on the guidance for the creation of outstanding customer experiences through the provision of excellent services to achieve customer delight. It does not focus on providing basic customer service which organisations should already have in place. These documents apply to all organisations delivering services, such as commercial organisations, public services, and not-for-profit organisations.
Standards New Zealand is consulting with stakeholders in this area to determine New Zealand’s response. There is more information on our international engagement page.
