  • AS 1141.3.1-2012 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates – Sampling – Aggregates
    Defines requirements and specifies methods for taking samples of aggregates and sands, for subdividing samples and for packing and forwarding samples examination and testing. This Standard is limited to aggregate and rock products nominal size of 63 mm or less.

  • AS 1141.3.2-2012 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates – Sampling – Rock spalls and boulders
    Sets out requirements and methods for taking samples of aggregate larger than 63 mm nominal size, including gabion rock spalls, boulders and spalls taken for quarry assessment and preparation of reference specimens. The Standard includes requirements for packing and forwarding samples for examination and testing.

  • AS 1141.66-2012 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates – Methylene blue adsorption value of fine aggregate and mineral fillers
    Sets out a method for determining the methylene blue adsorption value (MBV) for fine aggregate and mineral fillers. This method applies to aggregate of less than 5 mm nominal size and may be used for both natural and manufactured sands. The application of the test to slag, other artificial aggregate or to recycled aggregate has not been evaluated. The method tests the passing 75 ìm fraction of a laboratory dried, unwashed fine aggregate sample.
  • AS ISO 2846.1-2012 Graphic technology – Colour and transparency of printing ink sets for four-colour printing – Sheet-fed and heat-set web offset lithographic printing
    Adopts ISO 2846-1:2006 to specify the colour and transparency characteristics that have to be met by each ink in a process colour ink set intended for proof and production printing using offset lithography. Characteristics are specified for inks used for sheet-fed, heat-set web and radiation-curing processes.
  • AS ISO 3664-2012 Graphic technology and photography – Viewing conditions
    Adopts ISO 3664:2009 to specify viewing conditions for images on both reflective and transmissive media, such as prints (both photographic and photomechanical) and transparencies, as well as images displayed in isolation on colour monitors.
  • AS 3705-2012 Geotextiles – Identification, marking and general data
    Sets out the information required to be provided on rolls of, or data sheets for, geotextiles.

  • AS 3706.1-2012 Geotextiles – Methods of test – General requirements, sampling, conditioning, basic physical properties and statistical analysis
    Sets out general requirements for the testing of fabrics intended for use as geotextiles. It sets out sampling and conditioning procedures, the methods for the determination of basic physical properties such as length and mass per unit area, and the principles of statistical analysis to be applied to the other Standards in this series, as appropriate.

  • AS 3706.2-2012 Geotextiles – Methods of test – Determination of tensile properties - Wide strip and grab method
    Sets out the method for determining the tensile properties of geotextiles in both atmospheric and wet conditions.

    Sets out a method for determining the tearing strength of geotextiles under in-plane loading, using the trapezoidal method.

    Sets out the method for determining the burst strength and deformation properties of geotextiles using the California bearing ratio (CBR) test apparatus for both atmospheric-conditioned and wet-conditioned specimens.

    Sets out the method for determining the seam strength of geotextiles.

    Sets out the method for determining the permittivity of geotextiles by measuring the flow of water through the fabric normal to its surface under a constant head.

  • AS 3706.10.1-2012 Geotextiles – Methods of test – Determination of transmissivity – Radial method
    Sets out the method for determining the transmissivity of geotextiles by measuring the rate of flow of water in the plane of the fabric under a constant head using a radial flow apparatus.

    Sets out a method for determining the durability of geotextiles when subjected to degradation by artificial light and heat.

    Sets out the method for determining the resistance of geotextiles to microbiological agents that are present in certain soils.

  • AS IEC 62040.3-2012 Uninterruptible power systems (UPS) – Method of specifying the performance and test requirements
    Adopts IEC 62040-3 Ed.2.0 to provide manufacturers, designers and users with a means of specifying performance and test requirements of a complete uninterruptible power system.

  • HB 89-2012 Risk management – Guidelines on risk assessment techniques
    Provides guidance on good practice for assessing risk, as part of a risk management process and to assist in making decisions under conditions of uncertainty. Includes an overview of a range of risk assessment techniques and guidance on their selection and implementation.
  • HB 331-2012 Overhead line design
    This Handbook provides support for AS/NZS 7000:2010, which is the Standard that provides requirements, methods and guidance for the design and construction of overhead electrical power lines. It applies to alternating current lines operating at a nominal frequency of 50 Hz.
