The International Organization of Standardization's (ISO) technical committee (TC) 106 this year celebrates its golden jubilee.
Formed 50 years ago, ISO/TC 106 has played a fundamental role in contributing towards public health in the development of Standards to support safe and hygienic products and practices in the dental profession.
The first meetings dealing with international Standards for dentistry took place in England in 1962. Since that time, ISO-TC 106 has played a critical role in advancing dental care across the world.
