Meritorious Service Awards

We are gearing up for our annual Meritorious Service Awards event which will again be held at Parliament in the banquet hall. The date for the event this year is 26 August. This week, we will be emailing New Zealand committee members asking you to nominate anyone you believe has demonstrated outstanding service in the past year. You may nominate more than one committee member.

National volunteer week

National Volunteer Week is co-ordinated annually by Volunteering New Zealand. Celebrations and events are held across the country to recognise the invaluable contribution made by volunteers in Aotearoa. The week is New Zealand’s largest celebration of volunteering and civic participation, and will be held this year on 15 – 21 June 2014.
