Improvements for committee members online
I am pleased to advise that we will be introducing improvements to our online committee tool SPEX in early July. These include a new look and feel, an updated logo to be more consistent with our brand, responsive design so it is easier to use on tablets and phones, a new search function, and a new balloting system. Further changes are planned for later this year and we will be asking for feedback from committee members on these.

The international standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems – Requirements is being revised, with the revised edition scheduled for publication in late 2015.

The Standards Council Statement of Performance Expectations 2014/15 can now be viewed on our website. It describes the activities we will undertake over the 2014/15 financial year and our forecast financial performance. To provide context for our activities, it also gives a brief update on changes to our operating environment since we published the 2013 – 2016 Statement of Intent. Australia and New Zealand Internet award entry
We have submitted an entry in the 2014 Australia and New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIAs). We are proud of the refresh we undertook on our website last year and have entered it in the ‘Information’ category of the awards. The finalists in each category will be announced in mid-July.
