New Zealand experiences thousands of unwanted fires every year. They cause varying amounts of damage, injury, or even loss of life. Through partnership with industry organisations, such as the Fire Protection Association New Zealand and the New Zealand Fire Service, Standards New Zealand aims to incorporate the latest research to develop the most efficient and effective fire protection standards.
NZS 4541:2013 has been approved by the Minister for Building and Construction, the Minister of Internal Affairs, and the Standards Council. The standard is undergoing final editing checks and being prepared for publication later this month. For more information please contact Jono East
