NZS 8007:2006 Gender-inclusive job evaluation assists with the design and implementation of fair and transparent job evaluation processes as well as the auditing of those processes for gender inclusiveness. Monitoring job evaluation projects for gender inclusiveness will help identify and eliminate any gender bias that may affect the equitable treatment of people in employment.
The standard was developed through the collaboration of a wide range of parties with specific skills and interests in job evaluation such as job evaluation providers, equity advisors, employer groups, and employee unions from the public and private sectors.
