Joint Standards review ensuring Standards are up to date

Both Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand are committed to maintaining a contemporary and relevant suite of joint Standards. This is part of a strategy to ensure our stakeholders and especially the users of products and services based on our Standards solutions, are confident that:

  • our Standards solutions mirror contemporary practice
  • our Standards solutions are technologically up to date and reflect current views on safety, quality, and environmental impact.

Joint Australian and New Zealand Standards are being reviewed as part of this programme and proposals are being developed to either withdraw or reconfirm these Standards without technical changes.

As part of the first stream of work under this programme, it is proposed to withdraw some joint Standards within the IT sector. Your feedback is invited on the proposal to withdraw these joint IT Standards:
