Collaborative business relationships new Standard

Issue 23 – December 2010

A new British Standard provides a strategic framework to build collaborative relationships with other organisations. Collaborative business relationships – A framework specification, BS 11000.1:2010 helps organisations to effectively share knowledge, skills, and resources to meet mutual goals. Over time, the Standard can help build trust between an organisation and its partners.

BS 11000.1 addresses the requirements for collaborative relationships to ensure they are effective and deliver enhanced benefit to the stakeholders. Collaboration can enhance competitiveness and performance and help organisations to achieve better cost management, to foster innovation, and to improve time, resource, and risk management.
