Specifies the safety requirements for microwave therapy equipment used in medical practice for the treatment of the patient by means of a propagated electromagnetic field in the frequency range 300 MHz to 30 GHz. It is supplementary to AS 3200.1-1990/NZS 6150:1990 Approval and test specification - Medical electrical equipment, Part 1: General requirements for safety. This standard is identical to and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-6:1984.
