Approval and test specification - Motor operated appliances
Specifies electrical safety requirements, to be read in conjunction with NZS/AS 3100. Applies to appliances incorporating electric motors producing rotary, linear or vibratory motion, which are not already dealt with by separate standards. Examples include bench grinders, door openers, food waste disposers, ironing machines, polishing machines, pumps, blowers, sign flashers, sirens and others.
