Code of practice for the installation of polyethylene gas pipes
Applies to the installation of high density polyethylene pipe and fittings complying with NZS 7646 for gas distribution mains and services. It applies to the distribution of natural gas at pressures up to 420 kPa, to gas produced from LPG, and to mixtures of LPG and air where the partial pressure of the LPG component does not exceed 200 kPa. It does not apply to liquid LPG and liquid pentane, nor to manufactured gas or mixed gas containing more than 1 percent aromatics.
