Soaps — Determination of chlorides content — Potentiometric method
The method is carried out as follows: Potentiometric titration of the chloride ions with standard volumetric silver nitrate solution in a nitric acid medium, using a silver-silver chloride measurement electrode and a calomel reference electrode.
