Specification for structure and rules for implementation of United Kingdom 8-bit coded character set

Specifies an 8-bit coded character set derived from, and compatible with, the 7-bit character set of BS 4730. Comprises a single set of 62 control characters and 382 graphic characters, intended for information interchange within an 8-bit environment among data processing systems and associated equipment.
