Covers 19 types of material subdivided into two classes depending on mechanical strength characteristics. Further subdivision based on the reinforcement used, i.e. asbestos, cotton fabric, paper or wood veneer. Clauses cover colour, appearance, flatness, nominal thicknesses, tolerances, requirements and methods of test.
