Updated committee member deed

Standards Australia has updated their committee member deed that all representatives on committees led by Standards Australia are required to sign. This includes joint standards committees and thus the New Zealand members.

The main changes within this new deed relate to Standard's Australia's privacy policy that has been updated to reflect the changes made to the Privacy Act 1988. The premise under which joint standards led by Australia are developed is that requirements are set to ensure suitability for Australia, and New Zealand is provided the opportunity to joint these standards where they will also suit the New Zealand context. The updated documents are therefore presented from an Australian net benefit perspective. Although New Zealand is not specifically mentioned, our committee members' involvement in joint standards development continues to ensure net benefit for New Zealand is achieved and Standards New Zealand continues to value your input.
