Membership subscription service

Under the Standards and Accreditation Act 2015, Standards New Zealand become part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on 1 March 2016.*  As part of a government agency, we are be unable to operate a membership system. 

If you were an existing Member of Standards New Zealand at 30 June 2015 more information can be found on the Membership page. Contact our Customer Services team on 0800 782 632 during business hours or email enquiries@standards.govt.nz for help.

You can still buy/access all of our standards in hard copy, PDF format, and through the Online Library service.

Will my Online Library or Asset Plus subscriptions be affected?

There are no changes being made to the Online Library and Asset Plus services and these will continue in their current format.

Once your membership service expires you will no longer need to pay an annual membership fee and will not be eligible for the following discounts:

- A 20% discount on the retail price of all New Zealand (NZS) and joint Australian/New Zealand (AS/NZS) standards and Online Library Service subscriptions.

- A 10% discount on the retail price of international standards.
