Guidance for the implementation of international Standard on risk management – proposed new field of work

Standards New Zealand is seeking feedback on a new work item proposal called the 'Guidance for the implementation of ISO 31000'. The national member body of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in the United Kingdom, The British Standards Institute BSI) has proposed this new field of work to ISO.

Risk management – Principles and guidelines ISO 31000:2009 provides guiding principles, a generic framework, and a process for managing risk. It also includes 11 risk management principles an organisation should comply with, and a management framework for the effective implementation and integration of these principles into an organisation's management system.
