International lighting and energy efficiency conference – CIE 2010

In association with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) is organising the CIE 2010 'Lighting Quality and Energy Efficiency' conference this coming March in Vienna, Austria.

CIE 2010 is to be held at the Hilton Vienna hotel from 14 to 17 March 2010. As well as the IEC, other participants include major lighting manufacturers from all over the world.

This conference is the first event of its kind and is intended to be the first of a series, with subsequent regional congresses in Latin America and Asia to follow. An International Scientific Committee, chaired by János Schanda, has been put together specifically for this event.
