Environmental Risk Management Authority notice of approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority advises that it approved on 25 June 2009, the Code of Practice AS/NZS 60079.10:2004 and AS/NZS 2430.3:2004.

This code is intended to provide a means of compliance with Regulation 58 of the Hazardous substances (Classes 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001 in respect of the standards for the delineation of hazardous atmosphere zones.

Outstanding 14001 certification result for 3R Group

Having achieved Enviromark Bronze in 2006 and then ACC WSMP (Workplace Safety Management Practices) to secondary level in 2008, the decision for 3R Group Ltd to gain certification to ISO14001 was considered a natural progression for the Company.

Hawke's Bay based 3R Group design, implement and manage Product Stewardship programmes in New Zealand. Resene PaintWise and Agrecovery are two good examples where 3R have worked with clients to find a sustainable solution to problem industry waste streams. 3R not only define the problem and design a solution, but also manage the programmes operationally for their clients.
